Invisible influencer: The power of suggestion & other invisible forces.

This ongoing conceptual work explores the ways in which digital technologies have so seismically impacted the shape, form and content of human

connections and interactions, that alongside natural forces they are reshaping our psychological environment and perspective as if a 7th sense.

Using her phone Wooller sent the following message to people that have had a tangible yet ‘invisible’ impact on her in 2024:

“I’ll ask people who I am inspired by/have had an impact on my perspective & therefore my life in the last year to name me a force, quality or a concept or an action or artist that’s no longer with us - that has changed their thinking or shifted their perspective on reality with an idea, energy or a behaviour and hold it in their mind. I will send a T-shirt with Invisible Influence embroidered on it to you to cross the psychological barrier into your 3d realm.”

This cast T-shirt stands as the memory of this, now, ongoing project. Cast to look like it has been built up with honeycomb it is exploring how as humans we have a hive mentality and the constant invisible communication that goes on from morning to night and how unusual it is for us to be increasingly isolated.
